Lush's Koala Soap Raises Money For Animals Affected By Australian Wildfires

Lush Cosmetics is often known for their cute bath bombs and plant based products. If you've shopped in one of their stores, you've probably noticed they're always doing something for charity.

Well, Lush's newest launch is doing just that! They released a limited-edition, koala-shaped soap bar that supports a current and good cause. This soap bar is called "All the Wild Things" and is currently being sold in all stores to help raise money for all of the animals affected by Australia's devastating wildfires. The koala-shaped soap is actually just a version of Lush's Outback Mate soap, which has eucalyptus, lemongrass, and peppermint oils.

Since July, these brushfires have killed around one billion animals. The "All the Wild Things" soap bar costs $7 and 100% of the purchase price for each bar sold will be donated to the Bush Animal Fund. This organization was created by Lush to help "support animal rescue and land restoration organizations on the ground in Australia."

Lush's manager of charitable giving and ethical campaigns, Tricia Stevens, said in a statement that "As a business that cares deeply for animals, people and the planet, responding to the bushfires in Australia with funding support to impacted wildlife is simply the right thing to do. By directing customer support from the purchase of All the Wild Things to grassroots animal rescue organizations we will be able to have a direct impact on their lives and the environment in which they live."
