Well, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Anne Hathaway revealed some juicy information about a third movie in the works.
She was asked about rumours that started way back in 2017 when the author of the book series, Meg Cabot, revealed that there is indeed a script for a third movie.
Anne Hathaway admitted that both she and Julie Andrews would love to do a third movie. She said "We all really want it to happen, it's just we don't want to do it unless it's perfect, because we love it just as much as you guys love it. It's as important to us as it is to you. We don't want to deliver anything until it's ready, but we're working on it."
