Coronavirus has cancelled a lot of things, but not Disney's Epcot Food & Wine Festival!
We were thrilled when we heard the news it's still taking place this year, but with a few modifications of course.
This highly anticipated festival typically occurs in the fall, but this year's new version named "A Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival," will make its debut he same day Epcot reopens.
It starts July 15 and will continue through the fall offering over 20 signature global marketplaces filled with food and wine that are spaced throughout the park.
Guests can expect to see the return of old festival favorites along with new additions.
A popular attraction of past festival's was the "Eat to the Beat Concert Series" musical. It would draw huge crowds which is obviously not safe at the moment. Manager of communications for Walt Disney World Public Affairs, Laurel Slater, said "In an effort to accommodate proper physical distancing, we will not be able to host these concerts this year."
Instead, the America Gardens Theatre will have music and performances spread throughout each day.
We hope you're as thrilled as us for this exciting news!
