If you have a smart speaker, you might be surprised how often it THINKS you're asking it a question.
A new study found over 1,000 phrases that can accidentally trigger virtual assistants like Alexa, Siri, Google Home and more.
The full list hasn’t been released yet, but here are a few examples:
- Alexa can be triggered by the words "unacceptable" . . . "election" . . . and "a letter.”
- Google Home can be triggered by "Okay, cool" and "Okay, who's reading."
- Siri can be triggered by "a city" and "Hey, Jerry."
- Microsoft Cortana gets confused by the word, "Montana."
We're curious to see what other words and phrases come out on this list!
