You’ve probably heard of the online shoe retailer Zappos and they’re doing something no shoe company has ever done before.
Shoes are always sold in pairs, but now Zappos is allowing shoppers to buy single shoes!
This could make a big difference for people who need just one shoe or who need shoes in different sizes because one foot is slightly bigger than the other.
Single shoes will cost exactly half the price of a pair so it won’t be an insane price!
The single shoes will be sold in men’s, women’s and kid’s sizes, ranging from toddlers to men’s size 18 and women’s size 13. To make this even more inclusive, widths from narrow to extra-extra wide will also be available!
Popular brands including Converse, New Balance, Nike, Stride Rite and more are participating in this.
Zappos said customer have been requesting this for years and decided to roll out the single shoe sales as a test program and if all goes well, they plan to keep it permanently!
