A New York City infant named Jonathan decided he didn't want to have a baptism but instead he preferred to have a “baby shower” instead! While he was getting holy water poured on him by the priest he decided to return the favor by peeing on the priest! The funny moment was caught on camera and the video has gained over 13,000 views on Instagram since the day it was posted, which was on Aug. 28, 2021.

“Baby Jonathan literally p—ed on the priest,” said his proud dad Demetri Lymberatos, 35, who was filming his 7-month-old son’s baptism at a Greek church when the “livestreaming” moment occurred.

The viral clip begins innocently enough with the priest reading scripture and holding the tyke up to the holy water. Then, out of nowhere, the baby begins to urinate — with the stream of pee almost hitting the priest — which causes Demetri, his wife Melina and everyone else in the church to start laughing.

“Everyone laughed because the scene was surreal — like a mini exorcist episode,” Demetri, who owns a pharmacy, told Jam Press of the micturate-filled moment. “I had to stay still and couldn’t even do anything because in my palm we had the holy oil and water.”

Social media found this video to be the funniest moment ever and started making jokes like, "that baby Jonathan had “baptized” the priest."

“Priest: ‘Who’s baptising who, here?’” wrote one Instagram comedian, while another quipped, “You sprinkle me, I’m gonna sprinkle you.”
Another commenter wrote: “Baby was just baptising back.”

Some parents were also commenting stating that the same thing had happened at their son's christening.

“My daughter did that at her baptism! Hahaha it didn’t spray obvs but yep, she peed all over my SIL. Gotta love the orthodox baptisms.”
