Visiting a touristic city will surly bring some sight seeing and of course street performers. During a theater performance in Turkey street performer Numan Ertuğrul Uzunsoy’s character falls to the ground, all of this was part of the act. What happens next will warm your heart.
“The character I played was injured and in great pain,” said Uzunsoy. “He’d fallen off a horse, and was breathing hard.”
A stray dog who was near the performance came to rescue the performer.
Uzunsoy laying on the ground the gets approached by the stray, he was concerned for him so he came over to comfort him. He snuggled up next to the performer and started to lick his face trying to revive him. A member of the audience captured the sweet interaction.
“I felt warmth on my face. First, I thought my costar was approaching me,” Uzunsoy said. He was wrong.
Uzunsoy had to break character and react to the sweet dogs attempt to rescue him.
“I was very happy when I felt the dog’s kisses,” Uzunsoy said. “I was very touched. He was like an angel who wanted to help me. It was a very emotional moment for me. I was not expecting it.”
The video shows the actor enjoying the interruption. His crew then escorted the dog offstage so the the show can go on, he just wanted to make sure he was ok.
The street performer has hopes to reunite with the pup and help find him a forever home, and return the kindness he showed him.
