After Hurricane Ian, it left behind damaged homes and flooded streets. This has left many animals with nowhere to turn. Thankfully, many people are helping out each other and helping animals too.
For example, TikTok user @cariscaptures captured a beautiful moment of her husband, CJ, helping out a squirrel. The squirrel was found on the sidewalk, which was completely flooded. CJ noticed the squirrel struggling and stepped in to help. He offered his foot, and he was able to get the squirrel to safety.
This clip has had over 4.5 million views within the first couple of days. Everyone is so happy this man went out of his way to help out this squirrel. Unfortunately, many animals were so cold and confused by the hurricane.
The lovely couple decided to look after the baby squirrel once CJ saved him. Both of them have been keeping the baby squirrel feed, safe, and warm.
Recently, the couple decided to release the baby squirrel back into the park, where they found him after the storm died down.
