The Best Food Freebies And Deals For Veterans Day!

Veterans Day is coming up very soon. If you want to have a memorable Veterans Day, know that BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse® is recognizing those who have served our country by teaming up with Dr. Pepper® to offer a complimentary meal from an exclusive menu and a Dr. Pepper® beverage to all current and former military personnel with a valid military ID.

This Friday, November 11, 2022, BJ’s is honored to welcome veterans to dine in and enjoy a free Dr. Pepper® beverage with their complimentary meal from a select menu. Many fan favorites on the menu include the Bacon-Guacamole Deluxe Burger, Deep Dish Ziti, Jumbo Spaghetti and Meatballs, Parmesan-Crusted Chicken, Grilled Chicken Alfredo, EnLIGHTened Mediterranean Chicken Pita Tacos, BJ’s Classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and more!

Also, the complimentary meal is available for dine-in only, exclusively on Friday, November 11, at all BJ’s locations across the country.

Many food businesses, for example, often provide veterans with free meals and other deals. Below are eight food chains to visit for Veterans Day specials.

1. Taco John's

Taco John's is offering veterans a free Small Beef Combo, which includes two crispy beef tacos plus your choice of a small side and drink. However, to get this offer, you must also be a member of the chain's Bigger Bolder Rewards program. You can join either via the app or online. Use the code VETERAN22 under the MORE tab in the app when ordering through the platform, or use the provided QR code to call a restaurant. If you join the rewards program, you can also qualify for free small Potato Olés with any purchase for the first 30 days.

2. Golden Corral

Golden Corral offers a free all-you-can-eat buffet and grill "for all active-duty military personnel, retirees, and veterans of the U.S. Military."

They will have a Military Appreciation Night on Monday, November 14, from 5 p.m. until closing time which will take place at all locations. Non-military spouses or family members must pay for the meal, and military members must present identification.

3. Bob Evans

On Veterans Day, Bob Evans restaurants will offer "a free meal from a select menu" for dine-in customers.

It will be available to all military personnel and veterans. Customers can select from breakfast meals such as the country biscuit breakfast or brioche french toast. Also, savory options like the soup and salad combo or country-fried steak.

4. Chili's

Chili's will offer active-duty military and veterans a free meal from a limited menu. This will include Chicken Crispers, an Oldtimer with Cheese, Cajun chicken pasta, and other Chili's staples. All Chili's locations will have this offer exclusively for dine-in customers.

5. Red Lobster

Red Lobster will be dishing out Walt's Favorite Shrimp meal with fries and coleslaw to active-duty military, reservists, and veterans. However, the orders must be placed between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on November 11 by dine-in or to-go customers who present military ID or proof of service.

6. Cracker Barrel

At Cracker Barrel, veterans and active-service military personnel will get a free dessert when visiting on November 11. They offer a free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake with any order placed in stores or online with the VETSDAY22 code at checkout.

7. Country Kitchen

Those who provide valid proof of military service will receive a free Country Scramble from Country Kitchen restaurants on November 11. Also, the promotion is available for dine-in customers only and cannot be combined with any other offer.

8. Friendly's

Lastly, Friendly's restaurants will serve a free burger and fountain drink to veterans and active military members. Identification will be required for the deal.
