A veterinarian goes the extra mile to make animals feel at ease in his care by building trust in his patients.
Dr. Thomas Hamilton knew he wanted to work with animals since he was 7 or 8 years old when he was rescued by his dog Bandit, a Siberian husky, from a random dog attack.
Bandit felt that he was in danger and broke out of his chain to scare the other dog away to save his little owner's life.
The incident made a strong impact on the young Hamilton, and he realized how sensitive animals really are.
In his practice, Dr. Hamilton takes the time to gain his patients trust before any medical procedure takes place.
