Music in film is created to intensify and bring more meaning to a scene. It helps carry the rhythm. It can often tell a story without the need for dialogue. And often times, a song is written for a scene so perfectly that it becomes as iconic as the film itself.
Billboard has created a list of the top 65 movie songs of all time based on their performance on the Hot 100 Chart. Many of these songs are in current rotation on KOST 103.5 Love Songs as well as some of our listeners favorites. Here are the top ten from Billboard.
