You never know where you're going to meet the love of your life.
Well, two former students from The Rock Academy, a Christian Private school, were seated together in a classroom and formed a romantic relationship that eventually led to marriage.
Kevin McClintock, the Southern California teacher responsible for placing the two students next to each other was asked to officiate their wedding.
“I bet you never realized that seating charts could change the course of your whole life,” reads the video’s caption.
McClintock shared a video of the heartwarming story and it got a whopping 33 million views.
“You sit two students together and they ‘talk’,” reads the in-video caption.
The teacher noticed that the students hit it off from the beginning and kept talking after class and the day after that.
“Years after graduation, they come back to visit you,” reads one of the final slides. “And ask you to officiate their wedding.”
The Post reached out to McClintock for comment and several TikTok users were excited and went wild over the love story.
“Main Job: teacher. Sideline: Cupid,” laughed one user to which McClintock responded cheekily he has to pay the bills somehow.
“Oh that’s so sweet this is why I wanna be a teacher,” gushed a second person.
“When I was a teacher I would always play Cupid with the seating arrangement,” explained a third person.
Other commenters revealed that they had a similar love story and married the person that sat next to them in class.
“Our 8th-grade social studies teacher still barely believes that we ended up together,” said one viewer. “We’re married with a toddler now.”
“My new teacher sat me next to the class clown bc he would ‘pay attention better’ 4 years later & 3 kids here we are,” gushed a second viewer. “He wanted to impress me.”
“That’s how I met my husband,” recalled a third person.”We were forced to be partners in AP Chem. Both knew the teacher very well separately. He came to our wedding.”
Even though many of his commenters found their happy ending, some users were not as lucky and said that the seating assignment would have been awkward if the couple had broken up … which happened to one user.
“My teacher put us together and we started dating and NOW WE’RE BROKEN UP,” testified one viewer. “AND SHE HASN’T CHANGED THE SEATING!”
