Fox Weather’s Bob Van Dillen was reporting live on Fox & Friends at 7 a.m. in an area in Atlanta affected by Hurricane Helene when he heard screams of a woman trapped in her car.
While Dillen was reporting the massive floods, Fox News viewers could clearly hear the urgent screams for help from the woman who was stuck on a flooded road in the background of the live shot.
Apparently, the woman “drove right into the flood waters,” and told Fox & Friends that 911 had been called.
But as Dillen continued to file the report, the screams did not stop, so as a good Samaritan, he cut the live shot short to go see if he could help the woman in distress. About 10 minutes later, Fox & Friends aired live footage of Van Dillen carrying the woman to safety, waking through chest-deep water while the flooding engulfed her car in the background.
