Krispy Kreme Introduces Thanksgiving Doughnut Collection

Krispy Kreme has brought back their Thanksgiving pie inspired doughnuts. With four new flavors, the special festive doughnuts will have everyone pulling up a seat at the dessert table.

Speaking about the Thanksgiving Pie Doughnuts, Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme said, “There’s nothing more meaningful and traditional than spending time around the table with those we love this time of year. Our new Thanksgiving Pies Doughnut Collection was created with that in mind to help bring people together and sweeten the season of sharing joy and gratitude.”

The new flavors are: Chocolate Silk Pie Doughnut, Lemon Crème Pie Doughnut, Blueberry Crisp Doughnut and Apple Crumble Doughnut. Something different from previous years when the doughnut retailer offered mini-doughnuts in pie flavors and other Thanksgiving themed doughnuts.

The Apple Crumble Doughnut might be the most traditional offering, but a little bit extra. With a buttercreme pie crust, the cinnamon cookie crumble brings spicy warmth to break up the sweetness and making this doughnut a perfect holiday dessert.

The Chocolate Silk Pie Doughnut is equally enticing from the icing to the buttercream and is a chocolate lovers must try.

The most unusual flavor for Thanksgiving is the Blueberry Crisp Doughnut. Blueberry tends to be a summer fruit, but it is a classic pie flavor offered as a different option.

The new Krispy Kreme Thanksgiving Pies Doughnuts are available now through Thanksgiving. Check with local stores for availability and pricing.

In celebration of World Kindness Day tomorrow starting at 5:30 a.m. (Wednesday, November 13th), Krispy Kreme is giving away a free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts to the first 500 guests at participating U.S. locations, with no purchase necessary. The promotion aims to encourage acts of kindness and is in keeping with the chain’s similar efforts to promote goodwill, like their Random Acts of Kindness Day giveaway earlier this year.
