It's been a month since the tragic fires took over Los Angeles. Resident Jess Miller recalls one of the most significant losses and one of the most valuable: her engagement ring. Miller says when the Eaton Fire happened she didn't even think to grab any valuables or photographs and thought there was a lack of urgency. After returning to the site, her and her husband were able to find the wedding band but not the engagement ring. Then here comes Dejaun Jewelers to the rescue! The family-owned business in Woodland Hills is giving free engagement rings to couples affected by the Eaton and Palisades Fire. The family says they heard many stories similar to Miller's and wanted to bring back hope. Miller says the replacement symbolizes a new beginning and new memory.
