Doggie to the rescue... kind of? Over the weekend a small dog confronted a bear over the weekend in a Monrovia home. Surveillance footage shows the dog barking at a large black bear before it walked in. The bear leaned down, sniffed the dog, then continued to roam through the house. The pet kept barking but the bear was completely unfazed. This specific bear had a tracker on its neck , meaning it's be caught before. Its gone into neighbors' pools, roamed kitchens, and even ate some snacks. Wildlife officials are urging the public to make sure they lock their doors and use bear-proof garbage containers.
