Sometimes people will do whatever it takes to save the people- or in this case, animal- they love. A Florida woman took her dog on a walk near a creek and had to punch an alligator in order to rescue her him. Danie Wright was with her 4-month-old shih tzu Dax, when a 5-foot gator bit and took the little dog in between its teeth. The alligator began dragging Dax back to the water when Wright decided to continuously punch it. She eventually punched him hard enough in the eye until his teeth started to take her arm. Somehow Wright was able to flip the alligator on it's back and her and Dax were able to escape inside. The alligator was still lurking behind her house after the incident and was removed by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission trappers.
