A quick-thinking dog was able to help the cops find his leash before getting rescued from a house fire. Firefighters responded to an Illinois home and rushed inside to make sure no one was trapped. Video shows the officer busting the front door down before finding a 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier named Oakley. After he moved the gate that Oakley was stuck behind, the dog rushed down the hallway straight to where his leash was hung up. He sat and waited for the officer to clip it on. The homeowners were grateful to have their beloved dog is safe and sound. The officer's bodycam footage is below.
