LA Galaxy's Zlatan Ibrahimović Voted MLS Player of the Week

Zlatan Ibrahimović just joined LA Galaxy last week and is already making his mark! The LA Galaxy forward was voted Alcatel MLS Player of the Week.

While he has only played 19 minutes total in his Major League Soccer career, he scored two incredible goals in that time.

"The newly-acquired Swede became the third player in league history to score two goals in his debut off the bench," says the MLS website.

According to the LA Galaxy website, Ibrahimović believes it was destiny that he ended up in Los Angeles. He said “It was supposed to happen before Manchester United. My head was here. I wanted to come here and it didn’t happen. Destiny said I would come here. Los Angeles called, and I answered.”

We're so excited to have Ibrahimović here in LA and can't wait for the rest of the season. Let's go LA Galaxy!
