Carrie Underwood made a courageous return to the stage on Sunday night at the American Country Music Awards.
Underwood wore teardrop glitter makeup below her eyes as she performed her new song “Cry Pretty”. After the performance, Underwood returned to the stage with Keith Urban to receive the award for vocal event of the year for their duet of “The Fighter”, “You just knocked it out of the park,” Urban told Underwood.
Underwood’s last performance was at the Country Music Awards in November, and shortly after the Country star fell on her porch causing her to break her wrist and injuring her face which resulted in her having to get 40 stitches.
The singer kept a low profile on social media until recently, when she began slowly revealing her face in several pictures.
