If you grew up in Southern California, you know a 'Thrifty' ice cream cone was a big part of growing up.
For a low price, you could get the perfect ice cream cone.
Thrifty ice cream cones are even perennial medal winners at the L.A. County Fair!
It's been stated that Thrifty ice cream is the greatest power brand that any drugstore has created anywhere across America, the brand has always been a key foundation for the ongoing viability of Rite Aid because of the tremendous loyalty to Thrifty.
But now, A Rite Aid executive said that Albertsons plans to keep the Thrifty brand alive and will sell the ice cream in its grocery stores.
As of right now the ice cream is made in El Monte at a factory and no one knows whether the ice cream will continue to be made there or if they will change the tastes and pricing that customers love!
Guess we'll have to wait and see!
We ended #motherdaughterday with Hannah’s first time eating #thriftyicecream 🍦 and watching Trolls. 👩👧 When I turned out the light she gave me a million kisses and snuggles in my big bed and thoughtfully reflected back on the day. She used grown up adjectives to describe her immense gratitude and pleasure 😍😭 I think this will go down in history as her favorite day of the year and it will forever be etched in my soul. She is such an angel! As I sit here watching her sleep, I praise the Lord for blessing our family with her rainbow of light 🌈 🙏🏼 #hanniegirl #yourethebest
