In June, we sadly watched all Toys R Us/Babies R Us stores shut theirs doors after filing bankruptcy.
Was it for good though?
Tuesday, at the Dallas toy show, we may have seen the company emerge. Lenders who own a key piece of Toys "R" Us intellectual properties and brand names, including the giraffe mascot, Geoffrey, could be coming back into the toy business with a new wholesale journey called Geoffrey's Toy Box.
Their brochure read, "Wholesale toy distributor and intellectual property company whose focus is on popular play patterns across trusted brands that kids and parents love."
They also had a sign on their booth that read, "Back From Vacation."
Could this mean we get out toy store back but with a new image?!
