Starbucks never fails when it comes to creating new and delicious festive drinks. They've come a long way from the White Chocolate Mocha, Peppermint Mocha, to the Eggnog Latte's. And to keep the holiday cheer going, they just added another one!
Let's welcome the Juniper Latte.
If you're not already familiar with juniper, it a shrubby-type evergreen that has berry-like cones year round. The flavor from the berries is often used as oils and is in gin!
But lets move onto the drink now which is what I know you all want to hear about. This is officially how Starbucks is describing the drink: "This new Starbucks Juniper Latte is made with Starbucks signature espresso and steamed milk with juniper syrup and capped with velvety foam and a dusting of pine-citrus sugar."
Last year, this drink was only available at the Seattle Reserve Roastery location. But this year, it is available across the U.S. starting TODAY on their holiday menu!! Just remember that means it is only here for a limited time.
If you can't imagine what this would taste like, we've heard some feedback from people who have already tried it. Someone from the Delish staff said "It tastes like a spicier chai latte. It has gingerbread undertones." And another said "I, personally, felt it tasted like sap to the face, but, like, in a good way."
After hearing this I have to try it!
