If you are planning on eating any Perdue Chicken Nuggets, you better re-think that!
Perdue is now recalling over 68,000 pounds of chicken nuggets due to potential contamination.
They are reported to contain extra materials, specifically wood.
Vice President Jeff Shaw stated that he believes this is an isolated incident and believes that the recall is out of caution because only a minimal amount of these packages have potential to contain pieces of wood.
The recall includes 22-ounce bags of the Simplysmart Organics Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets.
If you have this product in your freezer, throw it out or contact Perdue Foods for a refund.
