Disney's New Annual Flex Pass Is Expected To Control Big Crowds

Disneyland is expecting massive crowds this summer, especially now with Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opening up.

Now, Disneyland Resort is offering an annual pass that will allow visitors in on slow days, but will require reservations for weekends and other high demand times.

The Vice President of Marketing, Annika Chase stated that they are trying to smooth demand.

On May 21st, the Flex Pass will go on sale for $599.

With the Flex Pass, you'll have no restrictions on most Monday-Thursday dates.

On high demand days during the summer, those with a Flex Pass must log onto the Disneyland website or the app to book a reservation.

Flex Pass holders will be able to make up to two reservations at a time as long as it's 30 days in advance.

The pass can't be used two weeks around Christmas.

By booking reservations, Disney can regulate the number of people who will enter the park by denying access when the crowds are too big.
