The Shawshank Redemption is returning to theaters in honor of its 25th anniversary!
Lucky for us, Fathom Events is bringing the most beloved movies back to the bit screen. The film was first released back in 1994, can you believe its been that long already?
Tim Robbins plays Andy Dufresne who is sentenced to life in prison after being convicted for the murders of his wife and her lover even though he wasn't guilty.
He then gets sent to Shawshank State Penitentiary and becomes close with Red who is played by Morgan Freeman. After 20 years, he experiences ups and downs and then finally plans an escape.
The Shawshank Redemption hits theaters nationwide for three days on September 22, 24 and 25.
