Psychologists believe that decorating earlier makes you happier. According to two psychiatrists at the Hull Daily Mail, they believe that the urge to want to decorate for Christmas early comes from nostalgia and childhood magical emotions of excitement.
Which makes sense if you ask me, it really is the most Wonderful Time of the year!
They say that putting the decorations up earlier extends the excitement.
Some people put up their tree right after Thanksgiving and some even do it before! I guess it all depends on your family tradition.
