How To Keep Your Jack-O-Lantern Fresher For A Longer Period Of Time!

Halloween is almost here so you're probably visiting the pumpkin patch and carving pumpkins. If you want your pumpkin to last, here's how you can prevent it from becoming a rotted mess!

After you slice the pumpkin and remove all the "guts", clean the inside with a solution of one tablespoon of bleach per quart of water to kill off the mold.

If you would rather go all natural, use one tablespoon of peppermint Castile soap in a quart of water. You can even rub olive oil on the surfaces to prevent it from drying out! Some even say that hairspray works as well!

Lastly, cut a hole out of the bottom for the candle to go in, instead of cutting from the top.

Do these simple steps and your pumpkin will be as good as new!

Have you carved a pumpkin yet this year?
