Couple Poses For Wedding During Wildfire

This couple from Illinois got married this past Saturday in Northern California at Sonoma County and there was a massive wildfire nearby their ceremony.

The two posed for a wedding portrait wearing masks. Their wedding photographer Karna Roa captured the photograph of the bride and groom as the Kincade Fire burned miles away from the ceremony.

180,000 people were expected to evacuate over the weekend as winds pushed the state's largest utility to cut electricity for millions of people to try to prevent more fires.

The whole area was extremely smoky and that this is the third year in a row in October that this has happened. Katie and Curtis Ferland, the couple who got married are currently on their honeymoon.

At first, they thought the wedding would need to be cancelled after hearing about the wildfires.

The wedding planner was the one to suggest these now viral photos of Katie and Curtis in their masks.
