Technology is taking over! Now, Panera is hopping on the new tech bandwagon.
They are starting to use augmented reality so that customers can check out the nutrition facts of at least one item without having to deal with advertisements.
If you don't know what augmented reality is, it brings virtual objects into the real world. With this new program, a virtual breakfast wrap will appear as the object. It will all be based off a mobile ad platform called Composite, making it possible to use this feature anywhere.
Customers will be able to go through the wrap's nutrition and ingredients.
Do you think this is a good idea? Have you ever used this before?
