A research facility is recruiting for volunteers in the US and the UK in hopes of clinical trials for a COVID-19 vaccine. They are currently offering people $7,000 to be infected.
Up to 24 people will be paid to be infected and then monitored for two weeks, where they will be banned from any outside contact. Queen Mary Bio Enterprises Innovation Center in London is one of the 20 firms that is globally trying to find a cure to the disease as fast as they can.
The medical staff will be collecting nasal samples, blood and dirty tissues and then measure them for the viral load. Keep in mind there will be no exercise or any physical contact allowed with other people. Their diet will also be controlled. They will be allowed to watch TV and play video games if they choose.
