It has just been announced that UCLA will be suspending in-person classes starting Wednesday in order to limit the spread of the new coronavirus.
The university will be transitioning to online learning platforms through April 10th, which is the end of the second week of spring quarter. Even the Winter quarter final exams will be offered remotely.
UCLA does not have any confirmed cases of coronavirus, the transition is to limit the spread of the disease. Three students were tested for COVID-19, but all three tests came back negative.The college is encouraging students to start their spring semester from home, even though housing will remain open. The campus, hospitals, research labs, on-campus restaurants and stores will also remain open during this time.
