Due to the growing number of cases of the COVID-19, CVS is now offering free home deliveries on all prescriptions at all of their retail locations. They will waive any and all delivery fees on prescriptions, wanting individuals at higher risk of contracting the virus to be able to stay home.
According to Troyen Brennan, who is the Chief Medical Officer stated "Being committed to the welfare of those we serve means being responsive to evolving needs and acting swiftly.This is particularly true in times of uncertainty. The latest steps we're taking will help ensure patients of all ages have every option available to them when it comes to filling prescriptions."
Soon, other pharmacies and drugstore chains are expected to soon follow suit as the number of coronavirus cases continue to rise.
