Due to the coronavirus crippling the economy, the government wants to send money to Americans.
“The ideal thing would be to target the payments [at] the people who are most vulnerable, the people who lose their jobs who are working in industries that are severely affected by the coronavirus,It’s hard to set up something to do that right away.”
The cash could help provide much-needed support to Americans who have seen dramatic income declines due to the coronavirus outbreak.
