80 million Americans should start to receive their COVID-19 stimulus checks this week, according to the US Treasury Department.
Some may have already had the money directly deposited into their bank accounts and the majority will be spent on groceries, at pharmacies and on gas according to The Washington Post.
If your banking information isn't on file with the IRS, you will be receiving a paper check later this month. If you happen to still be waiting on the money, there's a new tool that will be launched so you'll be able to track when your payment will arrive.
