Los Angeles County has now imposed a countywide curfew for the second night in a row, beginning at 6 p.m.
Several cities are cleaning up from a weekend of looting. In Santa Monica a citywide curfew was set for 4 p.m. and then moved up to 1:30 p.m. This marks the third night of curfews for the City of Los Angeles. This does not apply to people traveling to work or seeking medical care.
Mayor Garcetti stated “We are keeping the curfew in place tonight to protect everyone’s safety and help our first responders keep the peace."
