It's just been announced that the SAT college entrance exam is getting rid of their plans to provide an at-home version of the test. They believe that they can't guarantee all students would have access to the proper needed technology and don't want to take any chances.
So for now, they are pausing plans for the remote exam but still hope to make it possible for the future. If the test were to be taken at home, there would need to be three hours of uninterrupted internet access.
