In light of coronavirus, college admissions may be looking a little different within the next year.
For the class of 2021, here's some things you can expect when you begin to apply to college in the upcoming months. Since there has been challenges for rising seniors like the SAT and ACT tests being canceled along with no on-campus tours, some changes have been made.
- Standardized testing- ACT is hopeful that they will be able to hold in-person exams in June and July
- Applications & Essays - many seniors in high school may find themselves tempted to write about the COVID-19 pandemic but colleges will encourage students to demonstrate other ways in depth of who they really are.
- Campus visits & interviews- there are now several websites that specialize in online college tours and useful information
