Several malls have reopened again in Los Angeles even though many of their individual stores have still remained closed.
Westfield malls in the Los Angeles area have reopened with modified hours and safety protocols. The re-openings were allowed as the state of California lifted restrictions.
Even though some stores are still closed, shoppers didn't mind and were just happy to get out and about. Andy Vargas, a resident of Sherman Oaks said "The kids were really excited. My wife was waiting for this day. So we came not knowing what to expect. We wanted to see everything normal but we're grateful just to get started."
The malls are following CDC guidelines and you are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
