These States Require Summer Visitors To Take A COVID-19 Test

If you are traveling again, some states might have new requirements after things begin to open up again post stay-at-home orders.

As of right now, if you are planning on visiting Alaska and Maine, they will allow visitors to take a test rather than quarantine for 14 days. Alaska just started last month for any out-of-state visitors arriving, they were required to show a negative COVID-19 test or take one once they arrive.

It will be the same requirement for Maine, out-of-state guests will need a negative COVID test within 72 hours or they will need to self-quarantine. If you decide to get tested in Maine, you'll have to wait for your results.
