According to the UK's National Hair & Beauty Federation, they just issued new rules regarding hair dressers and their clients.
Members are advised to keep conversation to a minimum to protect the staff and customers. Customers are encouraged to participate in virtual consultations so that the length of the hair appointment can be assessed.
It's also suggested to avoid face-to-face conversation and to have side-by-side conversation while looking in the mirror instead. Customers also shouldn't bring coat or jackets into the salon if the weather is nice and they aren't needed.
