Hawaii Continues 14 Day Quarantine Through October

Hawaii just announced they are extending their 14 day Quarantine to at least October.

The plan to welcome visitors back again without having to quarantine has been pushed back yet again. The original plan was to lift the 14-day mandatory quarantine for arrivals on September 1st but that was then changed on Tuesday due to a recent spike in coronavirus cases.

For now, October 1st is the earliest date that Hawaii could start opening back up again for tourists. The governor David Ige said that an official date is forthcoming. He wants hotels and resorts to have time to make sure the state and staff is ready to go.

Hawaii's 14-day mandatory quarantine rules began back in March.
