Amazon is opening a smart grocery store!
The future is here! The first Amazon Fresh location is now scheduled to start service in SoCal, starting today. Keep in mind these will be different than the Amazon owned Whole Foods. The features will include Amazon Echos throughout so you'll be able to ask Alexa where you can find the items.
When you use your shopping cart, it will allow you to scan groceries as you pick them up, weigh fruits and veggies for the right price and even connect you with your Amazon account so you can pay without waiting to be checked out.
