Is coffee your beverage of choice in the morning?
According to the Huffington Post, they spoke out to nutritionists to find out what drinks you should put in your body as soon as you wake up. At the top of the list was water, if you are thirsty or not your body needs to rehydrate after a night of sleep!
Next up is hot or iced tea, green tea with a splash of lemon is also encouraged due to the antioxidant benefits. As far as coffee goes, that's a personal choice especially if you are looking for a pick me up. According to one nutritionist, they said to drink water before you have your first cup! Most said sugar drinks like soda, energy drinks and frappuccinos aren't the best way to kick off your day.
