LA County residents can now get free flu shots at county libraries starting this month and next.
There will be no appointment or insurance required. According to Skye Patrick, LA County Library Director, stated "During these unprecedented times, the well-being of our staff and customers is always on our minds, Working with Public Health to make flu immunization clinics available to our customers again this year allows us to provide them with a valuable resource to keep them healthy.''
If you do decide to go, masks will be required, social distancing will be enforced and each clinic location will undergo additional disinfecting. There will even be drive-thru options available at some locations.
