This year, Life&Soul are launching a Sustainabilitree Christmas Tree which is a reusable tree that is created from recycled, recyclable and compostable cardboard and water-based links.
They wanted to create an eco-friendly solution to the environmental impact that Christmas trees present each year. In the UK, they use eight million trees and seven million are discarded to landfill. Even though artificial trees last for a while, they contain chemical additives that include traceable amounts of lead, and also release gases known as volatile organic compounds into the air.
Plus, you won't have to constantly pick up needles if you do purchase one!
