Even though we are in the middle of a pandemic, that doesn't mean we can't still have a safe Thanksgiving dinner with our loved ones according to one expert.
Dr. Erika Schwartz, who is a disease prevention specialist stated that getting together with the family this year on Thanksgiving isn't a no-no as long as you aren't getting on a plane to do it. She suggests that you keep the windows open and use spaces and all areas of the house that you possibly can. If you happen to live in a climate where you can eat outside, she suggests doing that as well.
As far as serving food goes, she suggests that it isn't a good idea to pass around platters of food. She stated "The good thing about Thanksgiving and holidays is the coronavirus is not spread through food. But don’t do food that is shared.”
What are your Thanksgiving plans this year?
