If You Are Holiday Traveling, Here's When To Get Tested For COVID-19!

If you are planning on traveling for the holiday season and curious as to when to get tested for COVID-19, the CDC made their guidelines very clear.

They do recommend that holiday travel should be avoided or postponed this year due to the number of ongoing cases. Gathering with people outside your household, especially if you are traveling from out-of-town is not recommended. If you find the need to traveling, you should be tested before and after your trip. The timing of your test matters. It's recommended you:

  • Get tested one to three days before you travel
  • Get tested again three to five days after you travel
  • Reduce nonessential activities for 10 days after traveling if you decide not to get tested
