Wearing Glasses Might Protect You From COVID-19!

Researchers are now saying that people who wear glasses could be two to three times less likely to contract COVID-19!

The virus behind the disease which is SARS-CoV-2 which has been detected in people's eyes and according to the World Health Organization says that it can be contracted by touching a contaminated surface and then touching your eyes, nose or mouth before washing your hands.

This was tested by scientists in India who looked at 304 COVID-19 patients that were hospitalized. Less than one-fifth of the wore glasses compared to the 40% of the adult Indian population, according to researchers. The fewer people wearing glasses were treated for the virus than would be expected suggests wearing glasses offers them more protection.
