Tourism in Hawaii has seen a surge and the state just reported that nearly 25,000 people visited the state on Saturday alone. CEO of Pleasant Holidays, Jack Richards stated that bookings at his company have gone up 30% and that Hawaii's COVID testing policy has added to the surge as well.
Hawaii's Safe Travels program requires visitors to Hawaii to undergo mandatory COVID-19 testing. The recovery has been much faster than anticipated.
